Anna Kovalenko
EAL teacher

My name is Anna and I'm honored to be a new EAL teacher here at BCG. Teaching English is really my passion and I've been doing it as my main job for the last 7 years, though, according to my degree I was supposed to be a simultaneous interpreter. During these years I worked with groups face-to-face, online with adults from EU countries, online with kids from China and I've given individual classes to long-term students from all over the world. I'm quite open-minded and friendly, based in Spain for the last 3 years, speak Spanish, and originally come from Russia. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing bachata, going to the gym and just relaxing at the beachside and, of course, traveling.

These first days at BCG have been exciting and joyful. I'm pleased to meet everyone and be part of this amazing college and its above-word, team of professionals.Thank you everyone for your help and such a welcoming atmosphere, it makes me feel at home. See you all around.

Regards,
Anna

Gemma O'Connor
Teacher Year 6

I am Gemma O'Connor and I am very excited to be the new year 6 teacher at BCG. I have been a teacher in Barcelona for eight years and  I have qualifications in Primary Education, Psychology and Childhood and Youth studies, which I believe to be a great combination for a teacher.

Before moving to Barcelona, I toured the world as a professional Irish dancer and this remains a big passion of mine. As a very active person, I enjoy filling my time with running, playing padel and spending time with friends and family.

It has been great getting to know the team and fantastic children over the last few days and I am looking forward to my future here at BCG.

Montse Figueredo

My name is Montse, and I am very excited to join BCG. I was born and raised in Gavà but after finishing my degree in Primary Education I moved to the UK where I worked in education for over 5 years. My experience in education includes Special Needs and behaviour.

My first days working at BCG have been a pleasure and I am very lucky to work with such a magnificent team and wonderful children.

Kind regards,

Montse
