Dear parents and guardians,

I hope everyone has survived the extremely hot temperatures we have had over the last two weeks.

We have kicked off the IGCSE and A level exam season and the students have conducted themselves incredibly. They are all so focussed and have obviously been preparing for their formal examinations. I wish them the best of luck for their future exams.

Time is flying by and we only have 4 weeks left of the academic year. A reminder that the Secondary Assessment Week starts on Monday the 30th May and will last for 2 weeks. Mr Hooley made the decision to extend the assessment week to two weeks to give your children some breathing room between exams and allow them more time for revision, a great idea. When the assessment weeks are over the teachers will be busy marking the exams and writing your children's final reports. These will be available on the last day of term.

A reminder to Year 7,8 & 9 parents that next week is that last week of surf classes. The course has been incredible and we were blessed with great waves this week!

Sports Day will take place on Thursday June 16th at athletics track in Gava. Parents are invited to watch their children compete and Cafe de Finca will be providing fresh organic coffee and snacks for supporters.

Have a lovely day.
Mr Steadman
Head of Secondary
